People with a first, two or third vaccination can participate.
Participants do not initially have to provide proof of vaccination.

The campaign runs until January 14, 2022.

Successful vaccination lottery in Burgenland: vaccination rate rises to 81 percent
A campaign in the Austrian state of Burgenland, which is popular both at home and abroad as a holiday and wine region, shows what a vaccination lottery can bring. Burgenland was the first federal state to come up with a vaccination lottery as a campaign to increase the willingness to vaccinate. The campaign started on September 11th with the aim of getting 10,000 additional first vaccinations. With the campaign, the federal state achieved the highest vaccination quota in Austria: 81 percent in the vaccinable population (all over twelve years) and 73 percent in the total population.
For comparison: across Austria, 66.1 percent of the total population are currently vaccinated.
At the same time, Burgenland currently has the lowest incidence after Vienna.
