The inhabitants of Sucy-en-Brie (Val-de-Marne) and its surroundings woke up on Wednesday with a thick cloud of smoke in the sky.
The warehouse of the Livcer company, located in the Sablière business area, is burning.
Eighty firefighters are already on site, with around thirty devices, according to the Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP).
Traffic is blocked on avenue de la Sablière and Chemin-Vert, in the direction of Boissy-Saint-Léger.
According to initial information, the incident started at around 7 am, at the level of the hangar, with an area of 5,000 m².
The origin is still unknown but could be "accidental", according to the mayor (LR) Marie-Carole Ciuntu, joined this Wednesday morning, who went there.
No victim
This family business, with around 40 employees, specializes in printing.
The presence of solvents made it necessary to take all precautions.

The employees were sheltered, according to the elected official, at the municipal technical center which is a stone's throw away.

Firefighters are also trying to contain the risk of spread to the nearby warehouse, an auto parts company.
Many residents, as far as Ormesson, and RER travelers reacted on social networks, worried by seeing the thick smoke.
At 9 a.m., the BSPP could not yet measure the possible impact on train traffic.
According to Marie-Carole Ciuntu, the RER A is not cut.
Several bus lines of the Transdev and RATP networks have been diverted.
The smoke is obviously not toxic, according to information from the city of Sucy-en-Brie.
