More than 200 varieties of products made by rural families are displayed in the rural women's pavilion within the Ramadan Charitable Market, which is held on the grounds of the Old Fairgrounds in Damascus under the title (Rural).

The wing included a variety of municipal village products from all governorates, represented by pomegranate molasses, kiosk, bulgur, figs, ghee, thyme, pickles, vinegar, olives, oil, vegetable and fruit dryers, laurel soap, medicinal herbal soap, flowers and other products manufactured by the hands of rural families that bear the originality and originality of the rural household product.

Sana visited a rural pavilion and met with a number of those in charge of it, as the engineer Nermin Ahmed from the Rural Women Directorate indicated that the participation aims for a positive intervention to sell the product at cost price and achieve benefits for the consumer and project owners together in addition to introducing and promoting their products and facilitating their access to the largest number of community members during the month of Ramadan.

For her part, engineer Luna Bjor assured that all rural women products offered in the market are monitored and laboratory analyzed to ensure that they comply with the health conditions and specified specifications.

The Director of Rural Development at the Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Raeda Ayoub, indicated that participation is a new method in which the Ministry of Agriculture works, whereby women entrepreneurs stay in their homes and follow up their work while the ministry takes over the process of selling their products in the charitable market at the price set by rural families, indicating that participation is a successful experience. The purpose and goal of it was to reach an unexpected percentage of sales since the beginning of the month of Ramadan until today.

Ayoub confirmed that the ministry was able, through participation, to find a new marketing field for rural women's products to enable them economically in addition to achieving financial profit for families, pointing out that the ministry is currently working on marketing tracks, where after the Eid, a new start will be made for marketing products in the city of Damascus.

A number of visitors to the pavilion emphasized the quality of the products offered in the pavilion and their reasonable prices, as they are products from the land, indicating that participation constitutes an important support for marketing the products of rural women by selling them directly to the consumer without an intermediary in order to achieve additional returns for them and contribute to improving the economic situation of rural families.

Reem Al-Homsi indicated that she preferred to buy products from the rural women's wing, as they are home-made products of different quality than what is available in the market, and she seeks, through buying these products, to provide support to rural women who have provided all the items that housewives need, such as dried molokhia, bulgur and ghee, while she said Umm Imad: Rural products have a distinct flavor and carry goodness among their components, expressing her hope that these products will continue to be available throughout the year to alleviate the burdens of high prices on the shoulders of citizens, while Maher Saada pointed out that the prices of the products are acceptable and suitable for all segments of society, explaining that he prefers to buy natural vinegar over He bought a factory expressing his desire to secure such rural products from all governorates in Damascus.
