Various artworks by Palestinian and Syrian artists have restored the slogan “Palestine from the Sea to the River” to confirm that this land has legitimate owners that it will return to and that the occupier will inevitably vanish as long as the flame of resistance is burning.

The exhibition, which was held on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People at Louay Kayali Hall in the Arab Gallery, included 33 works of different sizes and topics centered around the Palestinian cause and resistance to the Zionist occupation, with a vision of 26 veteran and youth plastic artists using Palestinian women and heritage as a basic theme, but in several ways.

Abdel Muti Abu Zaid, head of the Palestinian Plastic Artists Union in Syria, said in a statement to SANA reporter that this exhibition, which is organized in cooperation with the Union of Syrian Plastic Artists, confirms the pivotal role of culture in the resistance and that the formation is a resistance part in the battle of steadfastness and struggle to regain the Palestinian land.

Irfan Abu al-Shamat, head of the Syrian Plastic Artists Union, considered that this exhibition is an expression of the Palestinian person's belonging to his land and history, noting the exhibition's focus on heritage and women in Palestine with the importance of making room for the emergence of young talents and the need to develop them in the future.

The plastic artist, Mahmoud Abdullah, stressed, through his participation in a work on women, the importance of invoking her as a symbol in all her cases, the most important of which is the resistance side.

The plastic artist Ahmed Al-Khatib, who participated in an acrylic painting measuring 80-100, explained that his work belongs to the surrealist school and focuses on optimism, as it is topped by a large rock that symbolizes steadfastness and the inevitable and future victory, which is a continuation of the struggle.

As for the plastic artist, Samer Al-Saeedi, he participated in a painting that talked about the Palestinian heritage and homes, using the technique of collage and acrylic. He focused in his painting on the red color, which symbolizes the blood of the martyrs, considering that the weapon of Palestinian artists is the painting that remains immortal in history.

Plastic artist Ibrahim Mumina derived his painting from the resistance of the Palestinian people to the Zionist occupation, relying on the sword, which symbolizes the resistance and steadfastness of the Palestinians in the face of the occupying entity, no matter how long it takes.

The young artist, Raneem Abu Khalil, participated in a painting in which she focused on the strong and steadfast Palestinian woman using acrylic, noting that through painting we convey a message to the world that we are steadfast and fighting for our cause.
