The heat wave does not bother Veolia, quite the contrary.
The French environmental giant published higher results on Wednesday.
With a turnover of 20.2 billion euros, it recorded an increase of 46% over the half-year.
A figure boosted by the perimeter effect linked to the acquisition of Suez in January (4.5 billion euros in additional turnover).
Even at constant scope and exchange rates, sales growth remains impressive: +13%.
“The integration of Suez's activities since mid-January has been carried out under excellent conditions and is already bearing fruit
,” explains the new general manager, Estelle Brachlianoff.
These very good results fully confirm our objectives for 2022.”
While the group did not raise its annual EBITDA growth target of between 4% and 6% at constant scope and exchange rates, it exceeded it in the first half, with an increase of 6.1%.
