"We have flavors like Heinz tomato beans, mayonnaise, ketchup," says Hannah Wearne, an employee of the Ice Cream Project concept store.
This ice cream shop which opened on July 9 in central London offers ice creams and sorbets with amazing flavors.
"Ice Cream Project" was created by Anya Hindmarch, an English fashion designer whose aim is "to enhance everyday flavors", according to the employee.
You can find ice cream with salty sauces, ketchup or “mayo” therefore, with condiments, with tea, with breakfast cereals and even with red beans.
"There are a lot of weird flavors and together with my sister, we were very excited to try a lot of them," said Izzy Konviser, a nine-year-old customer at the store.
Success quickly followed.
“We sold six weeks' worth of ice cream in four days, so we were very, very popular… We even have regulars, which is really nice,” says Hannah Wearne, delighted.
The concept store is open until August 28 and attracts a large number of customers every day looking to cool off as London records one of its hottest summers.
