This is shown by the case dealt with by the Koblenz Higher Regional Court.
It was about a car driver who was given the right of way by a truck.
To show her anger, the woman overtook the truck and slowed it down.
Not a good idea as the truck crashed into the back of the car.
No one was injured in the crash, but there was significant property damage.
The driver wanted the trucker to replace it.
So she went to court and lost.

Because the court rated the woman's driving maneuver as grossly illegal.
The accident happened solely because of their behavior, the portal RA-Online summarizes the decision.
The so-called "apparent evidence", after which the guilt of the person behind is suspected in rear-end collisions, does not apply here.
