It took several months for the new town twinning with Marseillan to be publicly documented in Miesbach.
The signs that the building yard put up on the four access roads of the district town immediately after receipt have been visible for a few days.

- According to Max Kalup from City Marketing, the fact that the signs took significantly longer than in Marseillan (we reported) was due to the fact that the commissioned company simply couldn't deliver earlier.

The signs shouldn't be bigger either, in order not to distract drivers too much from the traffic.

Marseillan, which has three other twin cities with Caudete (Spain), Castlebayney (Ireland) and Malmedy (Belgium), brings together a different area.
There, Miesbach was included in the ranks quickly after the contract was signed by going online at the beginning of October 2020.

Overall, the young partnership is having a hard time getting into step in the wake of the Corona restrictions.
A first major visit has not yet taken place.
To this end, the Miesbach police station took a step and started an online introductory conference in April.
Most recently, Miesbach's former mayor and partner Ingrid Pongratz took part in the celebrations for the French national holiday on July 14th in Marseillan as the representative of the district town.
