The women's volleyball team Hapoel Kfar Saba opened with a 0: 3 victory over Riggs from Latvia in the first round of the European Challenge Cup.
The rematch will take place tomorrow (Thursday, 17:00 Einstein Hall) and another win will elevate it to the last 16 at the factory.
Kfar Saba won the first set 18:25, a crushing opening backlog (1: 8), but encountered a stubborn opponent who made it difficult for them in the next two sets.
In the second set, KPS won 21:25, when it managed to come back from a lag of 11: 8.
The third set was close and dramatic, ending in a 25:27 victory for Kfar Saba, after Riggs equalized 24:24 and even led 24:25, but in the moment of truth the Greens from Kfar Saba surpassed themselves and secured the victory.
The Einstein Hall had a colorful atmosphere and a supportive audience.

PS coach Elad Spegget: "We achieved an important victory, but there is room for improvement.
We made mistakes mostly in the second and third systems, thus leaving the Latvians in the game.
