The head of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, stressed that Ukraine has lost its financial independence and is unable to perform its duties towards its citizens without the support of the United States or the European Union.
"Ukraine has gone bankrupt, with a monthly budget deficit of five billion dollars, while the taxes it was able to collect made up only 40 percent of the state budget, more than 60 percent of which is spent on military purposes," TASS quoted Volodin as saying on his Telegram account today. .
He added, "Kyiv is no longer able to fulfill its obligations and duties towards its citizens without receiving support from Washington or Brussels, causing the country to lose its financial independence."
