Wade Baldwin, one of Maccabi Tel Aviv's shining acquisition players this past summer will open his fourth season in the Euroleague.
Before coming to Israel, the guard played in Olympiakos, Asconia and Bayern Munich.
The American, who scored 11 points and gave five assists in yesterday's loss to Milan, told the "Eurohops" website about his expectations for the upcoming Euroleague season, before Maccabi Tel Aviv's match tonight (Saturday) against Anadolu Efes in the Yanakopoulos tournament.
"It's going to be one of the most competitive Euroleague seasons. You look at the teams and you see deep rosters, with good players. Every team is pretty loaded."
Baldwin also referred to his time at Olympiakos: "It was undoubtedly my worst year in Europe, my memories from there are not good. Then I had two much better years."
After finishing the preparatory games, Maccabi Tel Aviv will start its Euroleague season in a home game against Zalgiris Kovna at the Menorah Mivathim Hall on October 6.
