On August 16, 2019, the accused entered the heavily alcoholic snack restaurant Le Mistral in Noisy-le-Grand and ordered a sandwich.
During the wait, he gets angry with the waiters, becomes threatening.
Mohamed Fares Ben Yahiaten, a waiter in charge of preparing the pizzas that day, tries to calm him down and offers him a pizza instead of a sandwich.
El Hadji Bamba gets carried away, threatens him with his handgun bought shortly before on Snapchat.

Make me the sandwich or I'll kill you
," he says.
Then he shoots three times.
Two 9mm bullets lodged in the victim's body, one of which was in the lungs.
The employee dies on the spot.
26 convictions
Prosecuted for murder, the accused already has 26 convictions on his criminal record.
Violence, driving without a license, theft, death threats, possession of narcotics... El Hadji Bamba, imprisoned since the incident, has already made five stays in prison, the first when he was a minor.

He faces life imprisonment.
