Football referee Sapir Berman held a press conference today after revealing a few days ago that she had begun the process of gender adjustment.

The judge was born when Guy Berman and her extraordinary story made headlines in Israel a few days ago, and not long after that also covered the media around the world.

The 26-year-old Berman serves primarily as a referee in the National League, but this season has been promoted to the Premier League.

At first she served as the referee in the Toto Cup and later managed three games in the Premier League.

Most recently in the Premier League she has served mainly as a fourth referee.
