Gauting - After eight years as head of the Gauting Police Department and after 40 years of service with the Bavarian Police, the First Police Chief Inspector Ernst Wiedemann said goodbye to his colleagues on his last day on Wednesday.
In his honor, a former radio patrol colleague organized a privately owned, original “Isar 12” BMW with an eight-cylinder engine and then drove the departing head of the department home in a vintage police car.
