There are headlines that nobody in the media would like to find themselves with: "25 Corona infections after a birthday party in Stuttgart" or "Wedding party is developing into a Corona hotspot: Now fines threaten".

And yet it is reports like this that have been popping up more and more frequently from various regions of Germany for several weeks.

The number of infections is rising again.

Virologists and politicians warn.

They preach to keep your distance, avoid large crowds, and wear mouth and nose protection.

In August, Health Minister Jens Spahn suggested rethinking the size of family celebrations.

The wedding season is in full swing, big birthdays and baptisms can be celebrated again in a larger group.

This increases the risk of infection.

The danger is still invisible, but with the relaxed regulations, everyday life and celebrations normalized.

Each federal state independently determines in which framework and with how many guests you can celebrate privately.

In North Rhine-Westphalia a maximum of 150 guests are allowed to attend weddings, in Bavaria 100 are allowed indoors and 200 outdoors.
