Described by the police as "quite violent", the murderer suspected of cutting his neck with a kitchen knife on the east side street of Western District yesterday (12th) and causing the tragic death of the 48-year-old taxi driver Wei Jianxiong is still at large.

It is understood that the murderer whom the police are pursuing with all their strength is named Cai Nansheng, who is of mixed blood from Hong Kong and South Africa.

He was once charged with one count of possession of an offensive weapon for possession of two knives.

Tsai was accused of mental illness, and from time to time he made comments about "microwave brainwashing" on the Internet, which is eye-catching.

Cai Nansheng's foreign name is Mathew, and he introduced himself as "Software Developer" on the job search website.

It is known that he suspected that he had made an online claim to imitate the US shooting in 2019. The police found two knives wrapped in newspapers in his bedroom cabinet and sued him for one count of possession of offensive weapons. It was not possible to prove that the defendant intended to use the kitchen knife for illegal purposes and decided to withdraw the charge.

Before his arrest, Cai lived with his uncle and charged that he was in possession of a 28 cm long kitchen knife and a 24 cm long knife in his bedroom on October 3, 2019.

When the case was brought to court, his uncle mentioned that the suspect was suffering from schizophrenia, so the court once placed the defendant in the custody of the Xiaolan Psychiatric Center; however, it was later confirmed that the defendant was not mentally ill.

The police are looking for a murderer. He is white-skinned, a mixed-race man, aged about 30 to 35 years, 1.8 meters tall, black hair, and believed to be wearing a short-sleeved black T-shirt, dark shorts and shoes.

Checking the information, Cai made remarks about "microwave brainwashing" from time to time on the Internet, claiming that he had been followed in 2015 and destroyed his family, work, friends, etc. in the past three years, so he fled from South Africa to Hong Kong.

After the murder, a foreign "comrade in the same way" reported the incident online and claimed that Cai was controlled by a microwave technology called "V2K".

The taxis had the opportunity to put sacrifices at the location where they died.

The incident occurred at 4 o'clock in the morning yesterday (12th). When Wei Jianxiong, 48, drove a taxi to Dongbian Street near Queen's Road West, he was suspected of arguing with passengers and was attacked with a hard object or sharp object, causing serious neck injuries. He fell into a coma due to heavy bleeding and was sent to the hospital to no avail.

The police alleged that the suspect was a white-skinned mixed-race child in his 30s. The police classified the case as a murder, and described the case as “very violent” when explaining the case, and appealed to the public to stay in a safe place if they saw the trace of the murderer. And contact the police if feasible.
