WhatsApp will be subject to a charge in the future: How expensive will the premium version be?

The messenger service WhatsApp announces its first paid premium version: The new functions should be of particular interest to companies.

Munich – The powerful messenger service WhatsApp announces the next innovation.
Numerous additional functions are intended to optimize communication for other target groups as part of a premium version.
Almost 80 percent of Germans already use WhatsApp anyway – but there are still numerous innovations to come in Messenger in 2022.
The information available so far does not indicate whether the new paid subscription model is the first step towards a new business model for the group.
Use remains optional, at least temporarily.
WhatsApp premium version: It will probably be of particular interest to companies
The Californian technology company has not yet provided any information about the range of new functions and the price of the subscription.
In any case, the company is working on changes in several areas.

WhatsApp Premium: Finally secretly leave groups
An additional function that could make life easier for many people is secretly leaving WhatsApp groups.
Who does not know the tedious chats in which one person bombards all other members with photos, videos and emojis.
So far, however, many have remained part of the group out of politeness, because otherwise everyone can prominently read: "Max Mustermann has left the group." After all, one wants to avoid rudeness.

Other functions that the premium WhatsApp version will probably contain: Up to ten devices should be able to access a WhatsApp account, premium users can set up an individual link that customers can use to reach the company via WhatsApp immediately and the number of Participation in WhatsApp groups should increase.
