Due to its latitudinal extent, Canada has a wide variety of climates.

When is the best time to go to Quebec and Eastern Canada?

A region renowned for its immense natural spaces, its islands and for the hospitality of its inhabitants, Quebec is best visited between May and October.

Ontario and Quebec enjoy a more continental climate than the coastal regions of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Winter temperatures can drop below -20°C while the mercury rises to 28°C in summer.

British Columbia is one of the warmest regions in Canada.

Summer temperatures can exceed 30°C in inland areas of the province while winters are cold, with temperatures sometimes reaching below -20°C.

The coastal regions have a more moderate climate, with summer highs of 25°C in Vancouver, where the thermometer rarely drops below 0°C in winter.
