After the grants were distributed today (Sunday) for about three million children, many citizens are still waiting to know when they will receive the money. 

The National Insurance Institute announced that the second pulse will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when they will receive the grant from the National Insurance Institute, according to the "Grant for Every Citizen" law, about 800,000 are entitled to an increased grant.

These are recipients of benefits that depend on income tests. This is a grant of NIS 1,500 per adult, instead of NIS 750 - the grant intended for every citizen. About half of those eligible will receive their grants for bank accounts on Tuesday and the rest will receive them the next day, Wednesday. 

Citizens who, according to Social Security data, earned a gross salary higher than NIS 651,000 in one of the years 2018-2019, will not receive a grant themselves, but will be entitled to a grant for their children up to the age of 18. 

This coming Wednesday, a week after the Knesset approves the grant plan, Social Security will also begin paying the grants to graduates over the age of 18, regardless of whether they are single or married - anyone who has Social Security account details. Married people who maintain a joint bank account will receive the grant for both spouses.

In the meantime, the National Insurance Institute is continuing its operation to update the details of the bank accounts of citizens who are not known to them in the institution's system. These are hundreds of thousands of bank accounts that must be updated in the system of the National Insurance Institute in order to transfer the grants, to people who are not entitled to payments from the National Insurance on a regular basis. 

At the same time, the National Insurance Institute is preparing to locate the telephone numbers of eligible people whose bank account has not been located. In those cases, these citizens will receive an application by text message and will be given the opportunity to go to a post office bank branch and withdraw the grant they are entitled to in cash, after identification with a suitable certificate. 

This week, the National Insurance Institute will begin an information campaign, mainly among the Arab population and the Jewish-ultra-Orthodox population, in order to ensure the location of all eligible citizens of the country.  

The National Insurance Institute also stated that those who are entitled to income-dependent grants in the past year do not need to update their details in the National Insurance Institute. Those who are entitled to a grant from the last few months will have to update the Social Security about this in order to receive the increased grant. Anyone whose bank account has not been located and anyone who thinks he deserves an increased grant, but has not received it, can contact the Social Security via the website, or by calling 8321 *, or by calling 02-5393733.
