An incredible track record
Bernardo Rocha de Rezende, more commonly known as Bernardinho, quite simply has the finest record of a coach on the planet of volleyball.
And not that.
In the eyes of certain specialists in Brazil, he is even quite simply the greatest technician in all collective sports that the country of Auriverde is known, ahead of other legends like Telê Santana in football.
As a player, when he was a passer, he can be proud of a title of vice-world champion (1982) and vice-Olympic champion (1984) with Brazil.
But it was after his time on the bench that he began to win everything: two Olympic titles (2004 and 2016), three world titles (2002, 2006 and 2010), eight World Leagues (2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 , 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010)… In the end, he won nearly forty trophies, whether at the head of the Brazilian selection that he brought to the firmament of the discipline, or in clubs.
