Éric Dupond-Moretti will know this Monday if he is referred to the Court of Justice of the Republic (CJR) to be tried there for "illegal taking of interests".
The investigating committee of this jurisdiction, which alone is empowered to judge offenses committed by members of the government during the exercise of their functions, must render its decision.
For the principal concerned, indicted since July 2021, the outcome is hardly in doubt.
He told us, ten days ago, that his dismissal was "virtually assured".
