Apple's first augmented reality helmet (AR) will be released in the last quarter of 2022, according to analyst Mingchi Qi's forecast.
According to the analyst, the helmet will have two processors, one with "the same processing power as the M1", and a weaker processor for processing the data from the sensors.
According to the helmet line there will be between six and eight optical components that will provide real-time graphics and video on the mirror.
He claims that the helmet will also have two tiny screens with a resolution of 4K made by Sony.
The analyst explains that the processing capability of the helmet, which is at the level of a computer processor, will allow it to operate wirelessly without cables (like the meta quest helmet).
