Will the Corona plague make a significant difference in the Champions League in basketball?

The Sportando website reports that the plant's management is considering a structural change that will significantly reduce the number of games in the coming season.

This is a plan that is being considered for the first houses phase.

Currently there are 4 houses of 8 teams, meaning 14 games in the early stages for each team.

Under the new plan not yet approved, the plant will move to 8 4-group homes.

This means only 6 games per team.

If the change is implemented it is a far-reaching move following the circumstances of the period.

The new season of the Champions League (BCL) is about to start on October 13 with two confident Israeli teams: Hapoel Jerusalem and Hapoel Holon. If Hapoel Tel Aviv passes the qualifying round, it will join them. Even before that, on September 30, the Final 8 will be held in Athens, which will end the 2019/20 season.
