FC Bayern is not effective enough in front of goal.
A new striker could change that.
Bayern should be interested in a goalscorer.
Munich – Since Robert Lewandowski (34) left Bayern, there have been rumors of a possible successor.
Especially in the current crisis, many are missing an absolute goal guarantee in the ranks of the record champions.
That is why Harry Kane (29) is said to be the "number one transfer target".
The accurate Englishman would be available on a free transfer next summer and could close the Lewandowski gap.

But now a new name is circulating around Säbener Straße: Lautaro Martinez (25) from Inter Milan.
FC Bayern should have the Argentine on their list for a commitment next summer, reports the Italian portal

Lautaro Martinez has played for the Italian runners-up since 2018.

In a duo with the edgy Belgian Romelu Lukaku (29), Martinez delighted Italian football fans with his 19 goals and eleven assists in the 2020/2021 season.
Inter broke the long-standing dominance of Juventus Turin and won a title for the first time in eleven years, the Scudetto.
This season, however, the attacker has suffered from jamming (so far only three goals in all competitions), as the Bayern bosses were able to observe for themselves in a direct duel with Inter (0: 2).
FC Bayern lack a classic striker - but Lautaro Martinez would have to pay a high fee
However, Lautaro Martinez would be a very expensive option as a Lewandowski replacement.
Only last year did he extend his contract until 2026. The industry portal
Transfermarkt.de
puts his market value at a whopping 75 million euros.
With Harry Kane, Bayern would probably get away a lot cheaper.

The fact is: FCB has lost effectiveness in front of the opposing goal in recent games.
Attacks are not completed well enough and the numerous chances are simply not exploited.
That led to the inflamed goalscorer discussion in the first place.
Because FC Bayern actually has enough accurate attackers in its ranks.
However, the FC Bayern squad lacks a classic striker.

However, Hasan Salihamidzic does not want any discussions about the lack of a “real” nine to arise.
"Why should we worry when the transfer window is closed?
We can do that, we also have players for it, they just have to finish it better," said the sports director after the bankruptcy at FC Augsburg.
