Manchester United recently officially announced the appointment of Ralph Rangnick as coach until the end of the 2021/2022 season, after which he is expected to become the club's professional advisor.
The German will replace Michael Carrick, who temporarily took the place of Ola Gunnar Solskjaer two weeks after my Norwegian dismissal.
The 63-year-old coach, who comes from his role as a professional advisor at Lokomotiv Moscow, took over in an attempt to stabilize United's professional rocking ship, stuck only in eighth place in the Premier League, five points away from the top 4 and even further from the championship battle it dreamed of.
Rangnick, who has already been professionally involved in the game against Chelsea, is expected to make his debut on the lines in three days, with United hosting the unstable Arsenal at Old Trafford, hoping to start on the right foot.
As mentioned, he is expected to become the Red Devils' professional advisor at the end of the season, for a period of at least two years, and should be the one to select the permanent coach who will open next season.
Leading candidates for the job are PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino, who knows the Premier League well from his years at Tottenham, and Eric Tenn the brother, Ajax coach
