With the participation of Syria … the start of the International Physics Olympiad IPHO

With the participation of students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad, the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) for 2021, which is organized remotely by Lithuania, started on July 19 and 21, with the participation of 370 students from 76 countries around the world.

The Excellence and Creativity Commission stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that the Syrian team includes 5 members and participates through one examination center at the Commission’s headquarters in Damascus and over a period of 5 continuous hours between 11 am and 4 pm, where the first day was devoted to practical tests, while the second day was allocated for theory tests.

The authority pointed out that the tests deal with broad scientific axes in physics, most notably: electricity, magnetism, waves, geometric and wave light, electrical circuits and modern physics.

It is noteworthy that this participation is the eighth for the students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in the International Physics Olympiad.
