The Israeli team in artistic swimming qualified today (Wednesday) for the finals of the World Championships in Budapest in the free group exercise.
In doing so, the team completed an impressive achievement of five finals in all five exercises in which it participated - the two duet exercises, the two group exercises and the combo exercise.
The team qualified from tenth place for the final, with a score of exactly 85 points - 25.3 points for performance, 34.4 for artistic impression and 25.3 for difficulty.
The final will be held on Friday at 17:00 Israel time, with the duet of the team competing in the final of the free exercise tomorrow at the same time.
It is also Israel's fifth consecutive final of the championship, with the best achievement coming in the combo exercise, which they finished in fifth place overall and perhaps gives hope of achieving the rigid criterion for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Team composition: Shelly Bobricki, Eden Belcher, Polina Prikzczykova, Maya Dorf, Ariel Nasi, Nicole Nachshonov, Noy Gazla and Katie Kunin, with substitutes Neta Rubitchek and Shani Sharizin.
The team was led by coaches Anna Teres and Larissa Kunin.
