Today, the air defenses of the Yemeni army and the popular committees shot down a spy plane belonging to the forces of the Saudi aggression while it was carrying out hostile acts in the Marib Governorate.
Al Masirah Net website quoted Yemeni armed forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, as saying in a statement, "The air defenses managed to shoot down a US (Scan Eagle) spy plane with a surface-to-air missile, while it was carrying out hostile acts in the airspace of the Al-Mashjah area in the Serwah district of Ma'rib governorate."
Saree stressed that "the Yemeni armed forces will spare no effort in carrying out their responsibilities in protecting the Yemeni airspace and confronting all hostile operations."
The Saudi regime continues its aggression against the Yemeni people, leaving tens of thousands of victims and massive damage to the infrastructure in Yemen.
