Herzliya was drawn into Group H alongside the factory champion, Tenerife, the Lithuanian champion, Ritas Vilna and the Greek Prestri.
Peristri is one of the most intriguing teams in Europe this year, having appointed basketball legend Vasilis Spanoulis as coach, in what will be his debut season on the lines.
The professional manager, Zofi Avdia: "It's an exciting day for the club, it's our historic appearance in the Champions League and it's important as part of our progress.
We want to surprise in our debut season at the factory.
"Even last season at the beginning of the season we were not given too much of a chance and we succeeded against all the predictions. I believe in our players and coaches - we will do everything to represent the city of Herzliya and the State of Israel with honor and pride."
