Zoom said that they decided to terminate the other three events and suspend the sponsor account because two of the conferences had a large number of participants in China, and the other was because people in mainland China participated.

They said in the statement: "The Chinese government informed us that this kind of event is illegal in China and requires Zoom to terminate the event and the sponsor account." The company explained in the statement that they must abide by the national laws of the place of operation.
The company admits that it is wrong to close the accounts of the United States, Hong Kong and Hong Kong, and the entire session.
