Mothers are torn between wanting to be a good mother and having a career. Women in France say they are struggling to find the right balance between work and motherhood.

Women are also struggling to make ends meet, according to the latest figures from the National Council of Applied Research in the Family (NCAF) The NCAF estimates that women in France are losing out on the chance to earn a living as a result of working full-time or part-time. The NCFA estimates that the number of women working full time or part time in France has fallen by more than 1.5 million since 2010.
