Tiphaine Véron, 36, plans to travel the roads, countryside and cities of Japan for three weeks solo. The school life assistant, originally from Poitiers, loves this country where she already came five years ago.

After a night in Tokyo, the young Frenchwoman boards a Shinkansen, the local high-speed trains. She arrives in Nikkō, a small village in the heart of the green mountain, 150 kilometers north of Tokyo. She immediately sends her loved ones photos of the Shinkyō Bridge, a famous red wooden structure.
