Of the approximately 5.3 billion euros paid, 23.9% came from companies with fewer than 10 employees. The age pyramid also plays a role, with significantly lower amounts for the youngest. In 2024, business leaders intend to continue the movement, says the Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CPME), which represents small and medium-sized businesses.
