A former cashier at an Auchan hypermarket indulged herself for several years with misused gift cards, 432 in total. A loot of 100,000 euros that can be spent in several brands of the group, such as Leroy Merlin.
The scheme was well rehearsed. With 28 years of seniority, present since the opening of the Sémécourt hypermarket, in Moselle, the cashier had become a trainer. A position which gave her access to a ‘school’ fund.
