An SNCF agent dies after being hit by a train in Dijon. The 33-year-old railway worker was on an operation with an injured colleague.
Two investigations have been opened, judicial and internal. This is the second death of railway workers “at work in a week” after the death, on March 6, of a maintenance worker in a work accident that occurred at the industrial technical center of Bischheim, in Alsace. The Sud-Rail union recalled that it had “sounded the alarm to the CEO of SNCf in a letter dated August 4, 2023”
