The last blockades of the Peasant Confederation were lifted this Saturday morning. The farmers who had blocked the Saint-Quentin-Fallavier tollbooth on the A43 were in the process of evacuating the premises.
Around 80 farmers had been blocking the Leclerc purchasing center for the Greater West of France since Monday evening. “We are being dislodged even though we were completely peaceful,” laments Jean-François Guitton, secretary general of the Confédération paysanne en Loire-Atlantique.
