Cosmetics brand The Body Shop placed in receivership in the United Kingdom. In total, 2,000 jobs in the country and nearly 200 stores are threatened by this decision.
A brand present in 89 countries The brand was founded in 1976 by Anita Roddick in Brighton, a seaside resort in the south-east of England. The company was sold at the end of 2023 by its former Brazilian owner Natura Cosmeticos to the German investment fund Aurelius for around 245 million euros.
