Danone received authorization from Moscow to sell its Russian subsidiary to a close friend of Chechen Ramzan Kadyrov. This sale to the company “Vamin R LLC’ – known as Vamin Tatarstan –, a Russian dairy company owned by Mintimer Mingazov, a man linked to RamzanKadyrov, “is planned in the coming weeks,” Danone said in a statement.
