At the moment, the criminal police have opened an investigation into an incident that left nearly 60,000 people without electricity. The authorities assume that the fire on an electrical pole that was free in a field and was not fenced was caused. The huge Tesla plant in Grünheide has been controversial since its inception and has strong opposition in the region.
