More than 30 ministers of Energy or Climate are working on the subject in Paris. This is the first high-level international meeting since COP28 on climate in Dubai in December 2023.
Meeting is organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the International Energy Agency (IEA) The IEA estimates that “at least 2,200 billion dollars (2,000 billion euros) should be invested each year in emerging and developing countries,” says Eamon Ryan, Irish Minister of Environment and Climate.
