According to the latest official report, accumulated inflation reached 211.4% in December 2023 and the food and beverage category grew 251.3% in the same period. The items where the deterioration in purchasing power was least noticeable was in bottles of sunflower oil, which remained at 253 units of 1.5 liters each last November. But starting in December that product took a jump, so the parity was not maintained.
