France will have ten new billionaires in 2024, most of them heirs, according to the annual Forbes ranking. Bernard Arnault and Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, heiress to L'Oréal, are "the richest man in the world and the richest woman" for the second year in a row.

A total of nine women, two more than in 2023, appear on the French list. The richest new entrants are heirs: Olivier Dassault's children, Helena and Rémi Dassault, and Natacha Nikolajevic.
