France Travail announced this Wednesday that it had been targeted by a cyberattack. Data of 10 million registered unemployed and former job seekers had been sucked up last August.

This time, the database which would have been illicitly extracted contains the personal identification data of people currently registered, people previously registered over the last twenty years. “It is therefore potentially the personal data of 43 million people which have been exfiltrated,” specifies the press release. This computer attack comes three days after a group of pro-Russian hackers attacked several IT services in France.
