Gucci's recovery drags on. Sales of the Florentine leather goods manufacturer, flagship of the Kering group, fell last year.

The slowdown in the luxury market complicates the task of its new managers, who are looking for a solution to relaunch the brand. The group has not really been able to count on growth drivers: Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga. The total turnover of the group led by François-Henri Pinault fell by 2% last year, to 19.56 billion euros, and its operating profit fell by 15%.
