In the first quarter of 2024, the total amount of money sent to the provinces fell 86% compared to the same period in 2011. This is because of the reduction of the Teacher Incentive Fund, the subsidy system and the financing of retirement funds.
In the second quarter of the same year, the amount sent to provinces fell by 7.6%. In the third quarter of that year, it fell by 4.4%. This is the result of the change in the distribution of funds between the provinces.
