Javier Milei brought Israel's first investment in lithium with him from the trip. The Israeli technology company XtraLit, which was created in 2021, will invest US$108 million in the country.

Argentina is the fourth largest producer of lithium in the world (behind Australia, Chile and China), the third in reserves (behind Chile and Australia) and the second in resources (behind Bolivia). It currently has a portfolio of 49 lithium projects. And due to the potential concentrated in the so-called "Lithium Triangle", the country plans to climb to third place as a world producer of Lithium.
