La Poste: tellers called to strike this Tuesday, 30 to 40% mobilization expected. Sud-PTT even launches a call for a general strike of 160,000 employees.
The CFDT, the leading union among postal workers (24.5% in 2022), did not join the movement. Its union recalled that La Poste was the first French company condemned, at the end of 2023, for failure to fulfill its “duty of vigilance”, due to the working conditions of undocumented immigrants.
