MEPs adopt a bill to eliminate certain inheritance bank fees. The socialist text proposes to eliminate inheritance bank charges in cases where the deceased person was a minor or the sums involved are less than 5,000 euros.
30 to 40% of households included in the bill, according to Olivia Grégoire, the Minister Delegate in charge of Business, Tourism and Consumption. The bill will now have to go to the Senate for a vote, which is expected to take place within the next few days.
