Michelin is part of a team chosen by NASA to develop a lunar vehicle. The rover may be equipped with airless wheels developed and designed by Michelin.
Michelin and his teammates are well on their way to the adventure on the Moon. At this point, other competitors remain in the race to develop the rover, which could take four years to complete the first phase of development. The Bibendum is preparing to go to the Moon with astronauts on board. It will explore its surface, bring back samples which can be analyzed and who knows, water.
