Roberto Silva, a former Marval, will be the president of the National Securities Commission. Patricia Boedo and Sonia Salvatierra complete the new Board of Directors.
They are all lawyers, with experience in the capital markets. The new Board stated that it has a strong commitment to investor protection, efficiency and transparency. The short-term agenda seeks to normalize the capital market in joint work with the Ministry of Economy and the Central Bank. The medium and long-term objectives are development of the local capital market and the return of international Negotiable Obligations.
